DGS Trees provides arboricultural contracting services to other businesses on an ad-hoc and contract basis. We specialise in commercial tree work and up to 80% of our annual work relates to aboricultural contracting services provided to other businesses.
When instructed to undertake work, we always check the legal tree protection status of all trees included in our quotations. Failure to check tree protection status can potentially result in significant fines and legal action. DGS Trees deal with all planning applications, acting as an agent for our clients and there are no additional costs for this service when instructed to undertake work we’ve quoted for.
We carry insurances to undertake all of our work and every quote sent includes a copy of our insurance documents, we have the following insurance policies:
We are audited annually by two different health and safety organisations called CHAS & SMAS, each organisation puts the company under a microscope and assess our operating procedures, ensuring we operate to a recognised industry health & safety standard. There are pass and fail criteria, only a pass will maintain our approved contractor status each year.
